The game could use some polishing, both text-wise and maybe styling/mechanics-wise or I would love to see a “remastered/remake” of this fun time killer. It’s definitely worth a few plays, it’s minimalistic, so don’t expect it to be enormous or perfect.

cool itch's theme, game's title and banner, same as its font (which caught my attention).

"run"-button/main-screen:
white-bluish text on black background (and text-size & type), I like it so far.

menu with hovering/clickable sections changing in colours (also: highlighted words) sounds cool in gameplay.

would you generally plan to offer this game in other languages or just in english, depending on the option if user's would be open for collaborating or trusting them if their translations could be correct, etc.?

in-game, first screen: how about task/replies having +1 additional space/paragraph (than the ones between the lines, so the choseable texts would be quite more noticeable, next to its different font-colour&type there)?

typo?
turn on phone. dail911 ("task" refers to daill 999 being its standard), so somehow an "L" being bit excess, I guess?

I like the visual countdown and edited text after it reaches zero. The storyline's also cool when using the other option than turning on your phone's battery with 20sec left.

I double won yay 😁

speed.

 I am   s p e e d .

Um......that was easy? I did it in 10 seconds

This comment contains spoilers for the endings so please read at your own risk!

The whole time I was picking the options to save the woman, I was hurriedly clicking here and there while skimming through the text. I loved that there were multiple endings to this. So far, I got multiple endings such as 'Brianna saves you' ending, and the 'Woman Reported Missing' ending. That ending where she went missing gave me the shivers, because those cases can happen in real life too.

There was an ending where the woman became suspicious of Luke's whereabouts when her life was in danger so I played it a few more times to see where Luke actually was and apparently this is the ending I got:

Well, turns out Luke is a cheating bastard. But overall, it's a good game with rising tension as the seconds count down.

cool game, I love the idea, I got 2 endings, There should be more games like his

Really cool game!

There should be an option to beat the shit out of your stalker; 0/10

Short but effective. I felt tense the whole time, even through multiple play throughs.

This game does a good job of being scary due to the reality of this kind of situation occurring. I like it for the most part, but do have some complaints. I like the aspect of a timer, but the dialogue is far too long for me to read in those 20 or less seconds. I understand you'd have to skip some, and try to only take in the important things, but I wish there were a bit less text at times. I also wanted to give you feedback on my game not having audio. I am not sure if that's due to playing the web version or if it's just a glitch. I do also like that you added 5 seconds from the original 15 since the first time I played this. I think this game has potential. I look forward to what you make in the future. :)

pretty cool, got scared but neat

Ayo FUCK Luke bruh

Good game btw, choose your own adventures are always the scariest imo

the REAL question, is luke cheating on you? wait nvm i got the "found him out" ending

Really liked the game must better at 20s than 15s! I do recommend fixing some the grammar 🤣😂😂and changing the time to 12 am you have it set as 12pm. I dont know where you from but where I am from 12pm is still day time 😉

Omg I didn't realise! Thanks for letting me know and playing it on your channel!

Np I thought it was funny

It actually stressed me out the timer was a really good choice :) it's also a really original Idea look forward to playing other games you make.

Thank you for playing my game and featuring it in your video!

:)

This was very short and simple but that was what made it tense during the whole experience! In my first playthrough I actually went for the route in which I just shut the phone off. Exploring the different routes was very interesting. I'm glad I managed to get the protagonist into safety in the end! Rated: 5/5

Thank you for your review! I'm glad that you found it interesting and explored all the routes! :)

I don't know that to think. Missing women is a pressing problem in my region. But, it's just a game.

(1 edit)

I agree it is a pressing problem in a lot of countries. The idea of this game came from my personal fears as a woman walking alone at night.

Great experience!

Thank you! :)

UPDATE UPDATE: We now have audio!! Check it out and let me know what you think! :)

UPDATE: Sorry if anyone tried to play in the last 10 minutes. A few technical issues occurred. Should be fixed now.

I enjoyed this, very simple yet effective.  Felt the pressure to make a decision quickly and really wanted to play out all the scenarios.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

A very cool game. I enjoyed it alot! No Feedback  required.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! :)

This feels way better dude! I can read the dialogues with a bit of pressure but with enough time to finish reading them before picking an answer. Nice job!

Thank you, I'm happy to hear that! :)

This is such an amazing idea! I love how the time pressure forces you to choose between reading and clicking randomly - while allowing for a little memory challenge too! The only thing I would say to improve - some sound effects to give you a feel for the situation without having to read all the text would be nice, just as an alternative to reading all the text, or maybe some incentive to read the text (and not click randomly?). Other than that, I absolutely loved playing this!

Thank you for your comment, I'm happy you like my idea! I agree it needs more music, I'm working on fixing that in the future. :)

I started the game... I chose not to turn on the phone... started running.. reached home safely... in the first try. Huh!

Very cool concept, however I had a really hard time reading the options because it was way too fast. I know a sense of panic is part of the game play but it's hard to enjoy it when I'm just clicking sporadically to beat the clock.

Thank you for your feedback! I have just updated the game so it is now 20 seconds, so it should give you a little bit more time :)

I think the dialogue for choosing to "turn on the phone" is too long for almost all of it. I think shortening it down will give time, although only 15 seconds, for players to read it while on pressure. Overall, I had fun playing it! It's a pretty cool concept.

Thank you for your feedback! I'll keep this in mind if I update this game in the near future :)

I can not figure it out! Can someone please help me!

Thank you for playing my game! The game is built on the choices you make and results in potentially a different outcome. I recommend the best way to start is by turning on your phone and calling 999. You probably won't make it the first time (unless you're lucky!), you need to keep trying different combinations and options. I am planning on making a smaller update in the future to fix some variables to reduce the difficulty a bit. Hope that helps :)

Ok, thanks!

Also, does the game maker you used do windows build support? Just wondering.

I have Windows and I built this on Twine, which is a program that can used online and offline on a internet browser. I'm not sure if I answered your question 😅

Very Nice Idea! I especially like when the first time you play, you really have to hurry up.

Thank you for your comment! That's exactly what I had in mind, I'm happy you had that experience :)

Nice and Quick! No issues, I also only got 2 endings but I didn't try all the options since I was doing it as a Let's Play

Wow, thank you so much for featuring my game! You did well and were very close to the other endings, you need to keep trying more variations of choices. :)

very nice game! it feels like there is only the game over and multiple ways to get it and only one way to survive. i've tried every option! was this what you meant by unique endings or am i not doing something right?

Thank you for your comment! There is supposed to be seven unique endings. 2 of which come from calling 911, particularly the police and ambulance. Hope that helps :)

A very unique and interesting idea, I love it! I hope to see more games by you like that!

Thank you for your comment! Glad you enjoyed it!

This is pretty cool! I like it! It's a bit text heavy though I think. Adding some images next to the paragraphs would help (like a graphic novel)... Just a thought...  All the best!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm very new to Twine, so hopefully I figure out how to include pictures and audio in my next game :)

(1 edit)

Very interesting! It's weird having to quickly read through the text and then jump to a decision. It definitely causes a sense of panic!

Thank you for your comment! That's exactly what I wanted players to feel, so I'm happy you said that. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Nice game! it´s not that easy in that short time to chose the right option!

Thank you for your comment! Originally, I intended it to be 30 seconds but I thought it would be fun to make it a little challenging. :)

This is a good challeng. I realy liked it.

Thank you! :)
